hey people~
i hope the J1s will read this. it's really hard to communicate with you guys as a whole nowadays.
i know it's near promos and all, and i know everyone's really busy... but let's not sacrifice the already very minimum time we have for CNNY each week.
i hope we aren't taking CNNY for granted, cuz as Mr Cheng has said, when we compare ourselves with other CCAs, they train more than we do. our 1 day per week is all we have and i hope we'll all go for it. Mr Cheng was also kind enough to arrange appropriate timings for us because he considered the fact that we have our promos to worry about.
i hope you guys'll come regularly for future trainings. even if it's just a 2-3 hour training, it's essential for us to know what they're teaching us. i don't want to sound like i'm begging you guys to come. but we really don't have to wait for a threat (like during training today) to do this.
as much as you guys want the CCA to be united, i also hope for the same thing. so let's not wait for one another to do something. cuz nothing's going to happen like that. let's just do it together. if there's anything you want to say, just say it. it's been really quiet since we J1s took over. i hope you guys'll be honest with me as i am now with y'all. we can't read each others' minds.
CNNY's not mine, not the excos'. it's OURS. if one person falls, we all fall together. i want us to all be proud of CNNY. but it has to start somewhere more fundamental... like showing up for trainings.
so i hope you guys'll think about what i said. these are just words, just my dreams for CNNY. i hope it was straight-forward enough for you guys to understand... because the impression we're giving to others right now, isn't going to get us very far.
so let's pick ourselves up and keep going now--- it'll all be worthwhile in the end i promise.
i admit it's my fault that i didn't make this clear before. nevertheless, i hope now we'll be more motivated to do our best for CNNY, cuz everyone counts. all 25+ of us.
one thing that struck me today was when Mr Cheng told us that the college holds CNNY in high regard. and i thought, if we ourselves don't, how far can we get?
it's not too late to make things change for the better.
so don't slack or give up, everyone. =) if you feel like you're quite free, get yourself involved in helping others. our duty's to bring CNNY to a greater height. and i'm sure we're able to achieve it together!
