Okay, for the J1s, yes. It's after mids. But work hard J2s! One more week! Btw, this is a shoutout to the J1 excos... Post farewell party details soon! & uh, I'm representing all J2 excos to say that... we don't want soft toys for presents! I think all the excos will agree with me right? Haha :)

Tbh, idk what to buy either. It's quite troublesome right! Haha. Anw, yeah, something to share (which I also told Kenwyn..) If you don't know what to get, get something from you like cuz the reciever will probably like it, since it's a gift from the heart :)

Laugh Out Loud!

Hi Everyone!

This is the first time I write an entry for cnny, hope it isn't too bad.

Mediacamp has ended successfully and generally smoothly. We have to really thanks mr cheng and our j2 seniors who organised everything. At the same time, not forgetting the ex-excos(yifang's batch) for sacrificing their time to come back on the first day of mediacamp. It has definitely boost the morale of cnny. Most importantly, each and everyone of you ( j1s) were very significant in the process, because without you, we will not be able to run the camp. You are'll have undoubtly performed well as facilitators despite facing different challenges and difficulties in terms of cooperating with the respective schools, and also to guide them efficiently. I can understand, because I faced those problems as well. However, as what mr cheng has said, this is the first time, among many batches, that the participating schools were able to finish editing and submit their products on the first day and thus not a need to drag it to the second day. With this, please give yourself a clap! : ) You are wonderful!

Next, the exco's result is out. For those names that appear on the blog, I shall congradulate you, because you really deserve it. I know that some of you got a position that you didn't put in for both your first and second choices. Fret not, this means that the seniors have faith in you and believe that you can do well in that area. You should also trust their judgement and have trust in your ability. I hope that we excos will work together well in the coming one and a half year, assisting each other and bring out the best to cnny!

On the other hand, many of you might not have gotten a position. It's definitely something upset with a tinge of emptiness...I've experienced it before, but I hope that you can recover from your sadness in these few days, or try not to think about it for the time being. Like what shermaine has posted, you are all valuable members of cnny. Without the members, cnny will never go far. Thus, don't belittle yourself, you are all great people with great abilities. Let's hope we will have more fun and laughter working together in the coming journey. Be optimistic!

Media Camp is finally over, and I guess we can call it a success! Good job everyone! I suppose Mr Kwek is quite pleased because a sec school teacher praised the facils! :D Hip hip hooray! :) :)

Okay I'll not beat about the bush. I'm going to announce the list of Excos on the blog right now because I was the last to call my successor & he was still quite optimistic hahha I thought he'd be disappointed since everyone else got their calls quite early... except him :/

As you can see, some people got a position that they did not run for. This is much regretted, but we feel that this team we have chosen is the best. It's really been hard for us to decide which roles to assign to you guys since 21 of you ran for Exco elections. No doubt, there are more than 10 candidates whom we feel have the potential to be an Exco. However, it is not wise to elect the Excos based solely on our own preferences. We've given it much thought and the decisions are final. We hope everyone can understand this.

Please do not feel upset if you did not get a position. You're all still valuable members to our CCA. Without the members, we'd be nothing. We wouldn't have enough manpower participate in any competitions, not to mention production.

Okay I just realised that my post, compared to previous years, is much much longer. Well pardon me alright! I've got so much more to say :(

Hmm, fine maybe I'll not say them today! I'll save it for some other time haha. Okay bye! & SITO KENWYN... YOU DENSE PIG! Hahaha! Okay I tell you all... as I said... he's the last to be contacted, at about 7 plus, then hor... he think he's deputy head of logistics luh!!! Haha damn funny hor?! Okay nevermind random. I need sleep!!! Shall go rest now haha :D

hello everybody...

mediacamp's just around the cornerr!!! (refer to the previous post)

soon, we'll be handing over to the next batch of J1s! time really flies....

we seniors see quite a good lot of potential here in you juniors... so keep the good attitude and spirit going!! we're all hoping that you'll bring CNNY to an even greater height! :)

elections coming very soon... feeling a little reluctant for that day, but i'm feeling pretty excited too. :) i believe most of you chose to join CNNY because of the passion.. because when i came in, i knew almost nothing about editing or camera or reporting. passion can drive you to find out about the things you don't know if you're really interested. so keep CNNY going nowhere but UP!! we feel very relieved and assured by the good potential we see in you, J1s!!

one of the things i found hardest to do, was to balance studies with CCA. that one's no surprise. it happens to anyone with more than one committment. but it's still no joke.. sooner or later you're gonna be leading others already... but the experience i got from being director was definitely worth the while... i learnt so much i wouldn't trade it for anything else. hope that y'all will make CNNY yours and enjoy it. :)

okay.. just to encourage y'all juniors before we officially step down on thursday... i hope y'all don't feel the stress!! :)

Hello everyone! I bet you're all as excited about media camp as I am! :D Alright so here are the details everyone's been dying to know.

Rehearsal (3rd June 2008)

• Gate ushers, VIP ushers, AVA team & Emcee to report at 1200hrs.
• Other teams DO NOT have to report for rehearsal.
• J2s are also excused except all Excos not involved in SDP.
  
• Gate ushers, please prepare both signs for Editing Course AND for Media Camp.

Day 1 (4th June 2008)

• All to report at LT1, 0800hrs.
• J1s to wear any school attire then change into CCA tee. Please bring $12 for CCA tee each.
• VIP ushers please remember to bring along your full attire (including court shoes).
  
• Gate ushers to wear FULL uniform when on ushering duty.
  
• J2s to wear blue CCA tee and bring $12 for the white CCA tee.
• Excos will wear blue CCA tee as well, along with your Exco tag.
• Day 1 will end at 1830hrs.
  

Day 2 (5th June 2008)

• All to report by 0900hrs EXCEPT registration group by 0830hrs.
• J1s will wear school PE tshirt.
• J2s to wear white CCA shirt.
• We will break camp at 1330hrs.
• Everyone to stay back for Exco elections. (Voting)
• All J1s running for Exco position please be prepared for your speech :)

*Please take note: Breakfast will be provided on both days though I encourage everyone to eat at home beforehand. Lunch will be provided only on the 1st day.
