there's been a change in venue for the J2 farewell. it's no longer at sentosa. instead it's at east coast. we'll update you guys on further details as soon as possible after wednesday. sry for all the confusion caused in the last few days.. :)

ok now for the exciting stuff... but i can't reveal too much to spoil the fun for the J2s. hehehe... anyway, for the J2 farewell, we hope that all J1s and majority of the J2s will be able to make it. here are the long awaited details:

Venue: Sentosa
Date and Time: 28th July, Sat, 4 pm.

and that's all we're saying for now. can't spoil the fun by stating anything more. OH YES. J2 seniors, here's your what-to-bring list:
-extra clothing
-sunblock
-blindfold
-additional pt: strictly no jeans please. beach-wear highly recommended.

we'd deeply appreciate if these details could be passed on to the rest of the J2s so we can confirm the attendance of the J2s for the farewell asap. thanks :)

for the rest of the j1s, we shall reveal the more essential details to you before or after the training on 18th july. please be prepared to stay back for a while... thank you!!! (:

hi everyone!

it's my first time posting here... and i find myself a little lacking in words. (: [just thought i'd post my thoughts to start off... im sure the rest of the words will flow...]

when i first stepped into nanyang, i really didn't know what to expect. everything was new.

new environment, new culture, new friends, new seniors. initially i felt disconnected to almost everything... but thankfully after that, i started to find my way back on the track.

it took time, effort and courage for me to open up to people i was not familiar with. and all that was worth it because now i'm quite comfortable where i am.

i guess i can draw a parallel from that to CNNY. having started off not knowing anyone or anything, it also took time, effort and courage to be where i am now. i'm sure it has been that way for the rest of you as well.

Yi Fang has told me, "it's going to be a long journey." so my hope is that we'll forge a meaningful and lasting friendship that will carry us through. and may it be one that we will all look forward to walk through together as a united cca.

of course, i don't know all of you guys yet. but time will help build the relationships. as long as we're all willing, i'm sure we'll all bring CNNY to a greater height!

i'm definitely not just referring to the excos. now that the number of j1s are close to 20 people, i hope we all see a greater need for everyone to be a part in the building up of CNNY. you guys are the arms and legs of CNNY, just as essential. so let's look forward to working together. (:

our seniors have stepped down, but their footprints still remain for all of us to follow. the journey may be the same, but the lessons learnt will probably be different. (:

i look forward to seeing you guys again when school reopens. for now, let's work hard for what's ahead-- midyears. to you guys and the j2 seniors, all the best and jia you for your mid years!

在南初新闻台的这510多天里，真的学到了很多很多。。。
当上了总监一职也是一项全新的挑战。

去年在学兄学姐们的送别会邀请卡上写着：

来玲说这几句很有感觉，但当时的我并不觉得有什么感觉。
现在想想，似乎能够体会她的心情了。

昨天的月亮很圆，却是我们分离的日子。
但明晚又会有一轮新月，悬挂在璀璨的夜空中。

高一们要加油哦！

Somehow I'm quite nervous yet excited about the upcoming Media Camp...hohoho...

Anyway, Just wana add on some more things.

1. Bring a jacket if you think LT3 is too cold for you.
(I was almost frozen to death last wed during the rehearsal...)

2. Pls put your bag at the back of LT3 on first day of Media Camp. You may want to take your valuables with you when you are out for filming with the schools.

oh~ I've exchanged our blog url with J-fire's. So visit them if you are free! ^^

Frankly speaking, before I joined CNNY, I didn't know anything about producing a news clip.
Most of us were from very different CCA backgrounds. In fact, among us we have people from NPCC, Choir, Band, Table Tennis, Red Cross, Volleyball, Media Club, etc.
So experience is not the priority but your enthusiasm for CNNY.

So yea, take up the challenge and bring CNNY to a greater height! ^^

Pls take note of the following:

1. J2 LEP students who have not paid $15 for the Tee-shirt pls do so on monday. Kaili will meet you outside LT3 at 10.45am to collect the money.Thankyou.


2. J2 LEP students please stay back after your LEP lesson on mon at 3pm to collect the new CCA Tee-shirt.

3. Both J1s and J2s have to wear the new CCA Tee on first day of the media camp 29 May.

4. J1s pls wear your PE Tee-shirt on second day.
J2s pls wear your old CCA Tee.

5. There's rehearsal for all J1s on monday.
3.30pm at LT3.Please don't be late.
Also, please bring your $15 if you have not paid yet.

6. As for the rest of the J2s (Non-LEP Students) pls bring $15 on tues to collect your new CCA tee.

7. Last but not least, ultra important time and date to remember:
28 May - Rehearsal for All J1s (3.30 @ LT 3)
29 and 30 May - All J1s are to report between 7.30-8.00am. J2s pls report at 11 on 29 May and 7.30-8.00am on 30 May.

Yupx! guess that should be about all.
Everyone let's jia you for Media Camp!! That's the last project that J2s will be involved and the last time where we can work together as a whole CCA!
